Coffin Bay, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

We love every minute we spend on the water and in the bush here. It seems to be the epitome of pristine. Resting above towering limestone cliffs, overlooking the sparkling waters of Coffin Bay, the National Park and beyond, our piece of bush is abundant with endemic flora with rare smells and flavours.

As we journeyed further into understanding our botanicals, the inspiration to produce something unique grew until finally we embraced our creativity and founded Coffin Bay Spirits.

Sprawling over 500 acres of one of the last remaining untouched parcels of endemic coastal bushland in South Australia, the home of Coffin Bay Spirits occupies a truly rare slice of paradise – pristine, never cleared for agriculture, and blessed with direct ocean frontage that echoes the wild spirit of the adjacent Coffin Bay National Park.

Perched above towering limestone cliffs with uninterrupted views over the sparkling waters of Coffin Bay and beyond, this landscape features windswept dunes, abundant native heathlands, she-oak and mallee woodlands, and a rich tapestry of endemic botanicals thriving in salty air and Southern Ocean mists.

Here, every spirit begins with hand-foraged treasures sustainably harvested from this very land and shore – including unique coastal natives and seaweed under our dedicated permit. The untamed environment shapes our small-batch distilling at every step, infusing each bottle with the raw, authentic character of this extraordinary place: the pure essence of an ancient, untouched coastline.

This isn't just where we make spirits – it's where the land itself distils its story.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this country and pay our respects to Elders past,
present and emerging.
